The N-S oriented fault traversing through the town leaves several traces, including broken pipes in concrete slabs, warm springs (named the “Boiler” by teenagers), and a visible arcuate creek and shear pattern. Below is a map from Google Earth, which shows two shear features- demonstrated by parallel creeks and valleys along the Green Springs Road.
This fault system is related to the greater B&R lateral fault, paralleling the I-15 freeway, and creates a known Coriolis rotation as shown above. This feature means that the dynamics are not necessarily related to an asteroid strike, except indirectly. Hence, we must take care in assessing RULES FOR DIAMETER; GRID LINES. Below is shown an analysis, proceeding to determine the ratios, in the event that Coriolis rotations are indirectly associated. The primary force driving this rotation is the CW movement (SW-ward) of the B&R lateral fault creating most of the Virgin River valley from the town of Rockville to Littlefield, AZ.
The Green Springs anomaly and WA City fault system has several features, one of which is near the WA City PARKWAY.
This feature has a 40:1 diameter to both lateral (adjacent) and perpendicular GRID SPACINGS. This is a departure sufficiently from the RULE 50 to investigate whether the feature is related to the Eltanin asteroid of 2.15 m.y. A tentative calculation of the time required to form the shear circumference is about 6 m.y. at the rate of 1 mm/year. This age is on the border of the Miocene-Pliocene system of fossil-based taxonomy-related TIME.
RECALL THAT THE 7.2 DEGREE LATITUDE SPACING BETWEEN SIGNIFICANT TRANSFORMS IN THE PACIFIC OCEAN REPRESENTS 8000 KM OF N-S DISTANCE (1/5TH OF THE EARTH CIRCUMFERENCE). THIS REPRESENTS 40 M.Y. AT A SHEAR RATE OF 20 CM/YEAR. THIS IS SHOWN AT MENDOCINO, CA AT 40N LATITUDE, AND IS THE AREA OF TREMENDOUS DISTURBANCE OF THE CRUST, AND REPRESENTS A TRANSFORM WHICH CONTINUES TO KEMMEI SEAMOUNT- WITH A MEASURED AGE OF 41 M.Y.
