Why does Penn Cove, Whidbey Island, WA orient almost westward, when earlier traces of GLACIATIONS indicate a NORTH to SOUTH MOVEMENT?
Penn Cove borders Coupeville, the county seat of Island County, and is oriented N255E of other waterways, such as Holmes Harbor and Maxwelton Creek South. It approaches hiway 20, and it has many geological anomalies- such as iron springs, thrust faulting, and fresh water seeps and ponds- bordering it: ENLARGING A DIGITAL PHOTO REQUIRES ONLY THAT YOU CLICK ON THE CENTER OF THE PHOTO.
Penn Cove waterway, although formed by glaciation in its last stages, has been re-arranged by AXIAL, ELLIPTICAL, AND PRECESSIONAL WOBBLES of the earth since its formation. It is still thrusting laterally, as well as sinking vertically, as shown by iron springs, thrusts at the beach at Coupeville, and many springs along Madrone Road to the west. It has excellent black soil on three sides, including the highlands to the north, and this is due to mulching throughout the time since the ice retreated. The mulching has been assisted by biota such as CAMAS and GOLDEN PAINTBRUSH. It borders many circular bays and beaches, and these result from POLAR WOBBLE- mainly that of the AXIAL rotation of 40-41 k.y., but also by elliptical rotations of 100 k.y. cyclicity. My evidence relates that an asteroid strike, circa 12,500 years age ,caused a departure of the normal 20 mm/year TIDAL SHOVE WESTWARD, to cause a 255 degree from north deviated path. The deviations created MIMA MOUNDS in several regions of the island, and they can be seen and easily hiked at the Holmes Golf asphalted trails, starting at Harbor Hills road until the clubhouse at the end of the road. The mounds are generally round, with some ellipses, and form elliptical and “round” patterns. They are dated starting 50 k.y. and are still moving- as evidenced by the terraces they shear being able to offset erosion of the mounds. I expect that they result from “CHATTER AND JERK” of the earth as it wobbles from the combination of EARTH TIDES and shock from the asteroid strike.
UNDERSTANDING THE FORMATION OF PENN COVE WATERWAY REQUIRES THAT WE LOOK AT THE CLIFFS NEAR THE WHARF, AND DETERMINE THE AGE AND MOVEMENTS OF THE THRUSTS THERE. THERE ARE INDEED COLLIDING SEDIMENTARY COLUMNS, AND THEY SHOW THAT THE THRUSTS RESULT FROM ROTATIONS OF THE VARIOUS MALINKOVITCH CELLS (AXIAL 40 K.Y, ELLIPTICAL 100, AND PRECESSIONAL CYCLES OF APPROXIMATELY 25 K.Y. DURATION). NOTE: A COMPLETED CIRCULAR CYCLE IS RARELY FOUND, BECAUSE OF INTERFERENCE OF TWO OR MORE FEATURES OCCURING SIMULTANEOUSLY:
Previously we have found that Penn Cove illustrates several EARTH SCIENCE ANOMALIES:
1. The GRID SPACING between both E-W and N-S linears for the waterway and its immediate surroundings is not normal; usually, the measured distance on GOGGLE EARTH is 20 km- denoting that the earth tidal movement or “jerk” is 20 mm/year (20 km/m.y.). Penn Cove has 1.63 E-W and 1.0 N-S km respectively, which is ratio of 40/24.5, or the AXIAL/PRECESSIONAL cycle time ratio. This use of 40 rather than 41, as Milankovitch calculations yield, fits the binary series 10, 20, 40, 80 and agrees with my assessment that the geometry of the earth forces its behavior into mathematically-arranged dynamics. However, using 41k.y./1.63 is close- 25.2k.y., and this small difference can be assumed to be the result of unknown factors making the math “not quite perfect”;
2. The soil surrounding Penn Cove on three sides (both on the draining SW side and the uphill side near Zylstra Road) is unusually black and rich for farming, as opposed to that on most of the island- where gardens have to be supplemented;
3. The uncommon camas plant- edible Camassia quamash- is found in the black soils nearby, and Like Loco weed- a type of ASTRAGALAS composite- with fondness for soils containing selenium, camas enjoys soils with unusual Magnesium (greater than the usual Ca/Mg>10). More specifically, the very rare Golden Paintbrush (castilleja levisecta and sulphurea?) is found in only a few other places of the world, and it is restricted to the black soils surrounding Penn Cove- particularly near the Puget Sound western winds. This hints that the Sulphur-bearing rains from the volcanic Cascades to the east (rarely do the winds blow westward) are a factor in the analysis of the Penn Cove anomaly; and
4. Numerous kettles, or sinks containing glacial indications, occur just to the north of Ebby’s Prairie (which is preserved on three sides of the cove). Inspecting these kettles determines that they were isolated from the main glacier- containing almost no moraines, boulder debris, or till. Incidentally, a half kettle may be seen just north of Perego Lake in the beach cliffs.
First, view a digital photo of the thrust found near the intersection of Penn Cove and the Saratoga Passage (which is the start of the excursion of ICE AGE occurring latest); MILANKOVITCH CYCLES, PRODUCING WOBBLES OF THE EARTH ON A LOCAL LEVEL, ARE OBVIOUS IN THIS PHOTO, AND THEY ARE OUTLINED IN COLOR IN THE BELOW PHOTO:
The photo shows that there is both lateral and vertical rotation of the glacial sediments, and that the rotations are incomplete (there occur at least 3 vertical rotations). Geologists call these thrusts, and I had many arguments with the retired head of USGS about the interpretation of this outcrop of Qal. This particular outcrop is easily accessed by walking down the stairway at the intersection of Coveland and the wharf, near the city museum in Coupeville. This anomaly lies near the red-lined GRID on the previous photo, and is at the boundary of adjacent AXIAL and PRECESSIONAL cells.
All of these findings help to develop the sequence of dynamics occurring at the termination of the ICE AGE. The expected sequence is as follows;
A. An asteroid strike occurred at the termination of the ice advance, as shown by the RATIO 2/1.63= 12.3x RULE1000= 12,300 years. This is close to that recently investigated by geologists as an extinction of large mammals event, and has been found in my investigations in the SW USA. For this region NEAR the termination of the ICE AGE, the detailed calculation is:
2 km diameter/1.63 km/.001m.y. cycle= 12,300 years/CYCLE (by the binary series, there should be a regular occurrence of some event at 12,500 years)
B. A major event occurred near Penn Cove, as indicated by the drastic 75 degree shift of the ice lobe. Previously it moved southward, and it was always suspicious that it left EXACTLY N-S lines on LIDAR and Google Earth views. Now we see that this is not the trace of the ice, but N-S grids determined by EARTH TIDES (BOTH SOLAR AND LUNAR- the ice is merely taking the lowest ELEVATION path, provided by earth tides). Normally the tides move 20 mm/year, or 20 km/m.y. (uncorrected for latitude), but in this case they are 1 km in an N-S longitudinal orientation, and 1.63 km E-W., which is the identical ratio of AXIAL/PRECESSIONAL TIMES CALCULATED BY MILANKOVITCH 40/24.5; This is the first clue that there was a major disruption nearby. The re-orientation of the ice movement is 75 degrees from N-S (N255W), and this covers the north side of Whidbey Island- even on Goose Rock at Deception Pass, where a boulder has glacial grooves and striations in the same orientation. A combination of glacial kettles to the west, an iron spring to the east of Coupeville, anomalous shallow well water composition, arcuate beaches, rare botany requiring volcanic ash (Golden Paintbrush), unusual black, rich soil atop TILL which is not even useful for weeds, and the thrusting noticed near Coupeville hint that both a small asteroid and the resulting volcanic extrusions occurred between Coupeville and the Cascades.
C. This is my summer project, and I will find the source of the anomaly. I suspect that the entire entity is due to an asteroid disruption, which produced vulcanism. I will search the antipode, which should be a rise (opposed to the sink occurring locally). Hopefully, I can find an indicator in the soil or water, which is encouraging Golden Paintbrush and secondarily the edible Camas. This has to be
rare, compared to the cation Mg, since the rarity of the event and the flora-soil indicates that we are searching for smidgens: ppb, or small ppm.

Correlation of Golden Paintbrush with Oregon Mima Mounds Glacial Heritage and Mima Mounds are in close proximity to one another (1.6 km),
while Rocky Prairie lies approximately 14 km to the east. Glacial Heritage consists of:
280 hectares of irregularly mounded prairie, while Mima Mounds is 250 hectares of
regularly mounded prairie. Mounds are approximately 2-2.5m tall in the center at Mima Mounds, and are generally lower at Glacial Heritage, which has been noted to have a greater occurrence of non-native species than Mima Mounds (Caplow and Chapell 2005). Rocky Prairie is the smallest of the three SPS sites, comprising
approximately 16 hectares of irregularly mounded prairie. Though small, it is home to one of the largest extant C. levisecta populations (5,000 individuals were counted in 2002) (Chappel and Caplow 2002).
THE EVENT PRODUCING THE PENN COVE DIVERSION (AND INCIDENTALLY, THE GOLDEN PAINTBRUSH, INDICATED BY MY APPRAISAL OF THE RELATION OF THE FLORA ENCOURAGED BY SOME AS YET UNKNOWN MINERAL IN THE SOIL AND WATER NEAR COUPEVILLE), CAN BE INVESTIGATED FOR ITS CONNECTION TO A RELATED ASTEROID STRIKE AT THE MEASURED TIME OF 14 K.YEARS. THIS CAN BE ANALYZED VIA THE TRACE OF THE ANTIPODE IN THE SOUTHERN OCEANS, AT THE CROZET AND FRENCH SOUTHERN ISANDS:
MY PROCEDURE FOR FINDINGS AN UNKNOWN FEATURE- WHOSE LOCATION IS UNCERTAIN- IS AS FOLLOWS:
1.USING THE NEAREST ESTIMATED LOCATION, FIND THE ANTIPODE TO THIS (WHICH IS THE SOUTHERN OCEAN, IN THIS CASE);
2. SEARCHING FOR A STRIKE, LOOK FOR A RISE AT THE ANTIPODE- FIND A YOUNG, QUATERNARY, SMALL ISLAND, PREFERABLY WITH KNOWN-AGE BASALT (KNOWING THAT THE DIAMETER OF THE CIRCULAR ISLAND IS PROPORTIONAL TO ITS AGE);
3. DETERMINE THE LOCATION IN LATITUDE AND LONGITUDE; AND,
4 LOCATE THE ANTIPODE TO THE ISLAND- THIS WILL BE A SINK.
THE GEOGRAPHICAL EXTENT OF THE EVENT IS RELATED TO THE OCCURRENCE OF THE RARE PAINTBRUSH, AND IT OCCURS WEST OF THE CASCADES AS FAR SOUTH AS THE MIMA MOUNDS, WA. You probably have noticed the convulated path I am using:
a. Penn Cove GLACIAL ICE is diverted west by some event at about the 14k.y. time, and,
b. It leaves unusual soil from volcanic ash, which,
c. Encourages such flora as CAMAS and CASTILLEJA LEVISECTA (left portion);
d. Mulch is developed over the several thousands of years by Prehistoric Man with his mulching of the area by fire and selective pruning of the poisonous DEATH CAMAS, and,
e. Should the event have resulted from an asteroid strike, there would have occurred a concomitant bulge (such as an island) at the antipode to all this(. THIS MAY BE ANALYZED USING THE ANTIPODE NEAR THE FRENCH SOUTHERN ISLANDS.
THE REGIME OF THE MIMA MOUNDS, WHICH HAS AN AS YET UNKNOWN-MINERAL CONNECTION, MAY BE VIEWED CLOSER TO THE GOLDEN PAINTBRUSH-EBBY LANDING ON WHIDBEY ISLAND: AT THE HOLMES HARBOR GOLF COURSE, ON A TERRACE WITH MANY SPRINGS AND SEEPS. THE CIRCULAR PATTERN OF THE MOUNDS AND THE "ROUNDNESS OF THE FEATURES" IS EASILY VIEWED, AND NOW WE WILL HAVE TO DISCERN THE "FIT" OF THE PATTERN OF THE STATE PARK MOUNDS INTO A MILANKOVITCH CYCLE:
WE MERELY HAVE TO DETERMINE WHETHER THIS LOCATION HAS UNUSUAL SOIL MINERALS, WHETHER THERE ARE SOME UN-MOWED GOLDEN PAINTBRUSH EXHIBITS, AND WHETHER THERE IS THE CHARACTERISTIC BLACK HUMUS SOIL.
THERE ARE ARCUATE PATHS OF THE HOLMES-MIMA MOUNDS, AND THESE PROGRESS FROM THE OLDER OUTER PERIMETER TO THE INDIVIDUAL MOUNDS (ALL IN CIRCULAR PATTERNS):
HOLMES HARBOR TRACES N-S, AND THIS IS DUE TO EARTH TIDES SHIFTING LAND MASSES E to W REGULARLY. THIS rate IS NORMALLY 20MM/YR, BUT WHIDBEY ISLAND IS NOT NORMAL; IT IS OVERLAIN BY GLACIAL TILL- WHICH IS VERY SOFT AND EASILY SHEARED AND ROTATED. NOTICE THE PATTERNS SHOWN NEAR MY DOMICILE, WHERE THE MEASURED MOVEMENT IS 6 MM/YR, AND THE ROTARY MOVEMENT IS 10 MM/YR. THERE IS A TREASURE-TROVE OF INFORMATION AVAILABLE IN THIS LOW VISCOSITY MEDIUM, BUT IT IS DIFFICULT TO TREK THE RAIN-FORESTS BECAUSE OF THE DENSE VEGETATION COVER. PHOTOS BELOW CAN BE ANALYSED BY USING THE FEW EXISTING HOUSE ROADS WHICH HAVE BEEN CLEARED, SO THAT THE MIMA MOUNDS, SINKS, AND ANOMALIES MAY BE TREKKED;

THESE ARE OF VARIOUS AGES, AND PERTAIN TO MINOR WOBBLES OF THE POLES SINCE THE ICE AGE. NOTICE THAT AGES FROM 5 TO 14 K.Y. NOW WE SEE THAT MILANKOVITCH FOUND THE UNUSUAL GRAVITATIONAL ARRANGEMENT OF PLANETS ABOUT THE SUN, WHERE GRAVITY ARRANGES ALL IN BINARY PATTERNS DISCOVERED BY KEPLER LONG AGO.
NOW WE HAVE A REGIME OF SOFT SEDIMENTS, WHERE THE "ROUNDNESS" OF SMALLER CYCLES IS PRESENTED: AXIAL (41, WHERE I EXPECT 40 M.Y.) AND 21+K.Y. PRECESSIONAL (OF THE EQUINOX, OR LOCATION OF THE TROPICS OF CANCER AND CAPRICORN). WE WILL TEST THIS EXPECTATION, BY ANALYZING MORE ACCURATELY THE SMALL CIRCULAR PORTIONS TO THE EDGE OF THE 100 K.Y. CYCLE. THEY ARE USUALLY FOUND WHERE THE ELLIPTICAL "SPLITS THEM IN TWO", AND THIS SHOULD BE THE IDEAL POSITION TO EVALUATE THESE FEATURES OF CYCLICITY. SIMULTANEOUSLY, ANOTHER MYSTERY IS SOLVED; GRID ORTHOGONALS IN THE LESS-ERODED PUGET SOUND BOTTOM SEDIMENTS ARE SPACED AND PRESENTED SIMILAR TO "MIMA MOUNDS". THE ONES ON LAND NEAR THE COASTLINE REPRESENT GRIDS WHICH HAVE BEEN "ROUNDED OFF" BY SEVERAL THOUSAND YEARS OF WEATHER. MATHEMATICALLY SPEAKING, WE ARE DEALING WITH A MECHANICAL MOVEMENT DUE TO GRAVITATIONAL FORCE, WHICH CAN BE SAID TO BE A SECOND DERIVATIVE OF ACCELERATION: d(A)/dT, WHICH HAS A FIRST DERIVATIVE OF "JERK", AND A 2ND DERIVATIVE OF "CHATTER". CONTINENTAL SHELVES ARE PART OF THE Qsna ROTATION, AND MAY BE UNDERSTOOD FROM A DISPLAY OF MIMA MOUNDS
Mima Mounds are photoed below, and they illustrate a major feature for the rotation and movement of the edges of the continent- SHELVES. They have the following features in common:
1. They are both displayed in larger elliptical settings, for rotations which have two major radii, named major and minor: Rmaj and Rmin (or R1 and R2);
2. They both occur just off the edge of a slope or SCARP, such as the coastal range of CA, and they exist on a fairly level terrace (slightly sloping terrain)- contrasted obviously with the nearby scarp or incline;

3. They both exhibit anomalous curvilinear grids, which are eroded to a round configuration for Mima Mounds, and remain rectangular for sub sea linears;
4. They both exhibit “chatter” and shearing vibrations, which are expressed as quakes, jerks, and lateral movements; and,
5. Both “grow” outwardly with time, while incorporating rises, rotations, and shearing inside the elliptically-shaped lateral anomalies. The principle to incorporate in structural geology is that of outwardly-moving “RIPPLES“ which move perpendicularly to the arc, regularly with time (larger half circles are older than smaller diameter rotations):

THE LATITUDE MAY STILL BE A MAJOR FACTOR, BUT SO FAR THERE SEEMS TO BE AN ADJUSTMENT WITH SOLAR-MOON-EARTH TIDES SO THAT THE 20 MM/YEAR PATTERN OF PARALLEL GRIDS IS USABLE. HOWEVER, VISCOSITY OF SOFT SEDIMENTS, SUCH AS WITH GLACIAL TILL ON WHIDBEY ISLAND, MAY BE IMPORTANT ALSO; SEDIMENTS CAN BE SHEARED EASILY, WHENEVER THERE IS LITTLE SHEAR RESISTANCE. WE'LL TRY TO ISOLATE THIS FACTOR BY ANALYZING THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MM STATE ARK (WHERE THERE IS NO GLACIAL INFLUENCE, ACCORDING TO THE LITERATURE) AND WHIDBEY, WHERE IT IS MAXIMUM:
THERE ARE SOME ERRORS ON THE PIX, SINCE I AM WORKING WITH SMALL FEATURES- WHERE MY CALCULATIONS REQUIRE THE USE OF THREE TOOLS: PHOTO, CALCULATOR, AND DISTANCE MEASUREMENT ON GOOGLE EARTH. THE 55KY ABOVE SHOULD BE 5,500 YEARS. THE OBSERVATIONS STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT MIMA MOUNDS, EARTH TIDAL N-S LINEARS, MALINKOVITCH CYCLES, AND HARMONICS OF THESE- ACCORDING TO THE BINARY SERIES- ARE ALL AT PLAY:
1. AN ELLIPTICAL CYCLE PRODUCES THE ORIGINAL DISPLAY;
2. AXIAL AND PRECESSIONAL CYCLES ARE EITHER CONGRUENT WITH THE ELLIPTICAL CURVES OR ARE SPLIT BY THE ELLIPTICAL ROTATION;
3. THE MOUNDS ARE PRODUCED IN JERKS, AND ARE SOMEWHAT VARIABLE IN SPACING ACCORDING TO THE INTERPLAY OF THE TWO SMALLER CYCLES; AND,
4. THE ALIGNMENT OF THE ELLIPSES IS N-S, AND IS PROVIDING ANOTHER VARIABLE- ACCORDING TO WHETHER THE ELLIPSE IS ELONGATING TOWARD THE LARGE PLANETS OR RECEDING FROM THEM:
I ANTICIPATE THAT EARTHQUAKES ARE POSSIBLE TO BE PREDICTED, ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING "JERKS" IN THE MOVEMENT OF THE VARIOUS CYCLES AND ROTATIONS:
A. AT THE FARTHEST LOCATION OF THE EARTH FROM THE SUN (FOR THE ELLIPTICAL ELONGATION CREATED BY ADDED GRAVITATIONAL PULL FROM THE LARGE PLANETS- WHENEVER THEY ARE IN SUFFICIENT ALIGNMENT) THERE OCCURS A DRASTIC CHANGE IN DIRECTION OF MOVEMENT OF THE ELLIPTICAL PATH. THIS IS AN INFLECTION, AND IT CREATES CESSATION OF ENLARGEMENT OF THE EARTH'S OVERALL DIAMETER (WITH GRABENS TO OFFSET THE ENLARGEMENT), AND PROCEEDS TO SHRINK THE EARTH, SQUEEZING THE ELLIPTICAL BASINS TO CREATE UPLIFT OF GRANITE OR VULCANISM;
B. REVERSAL OF THE PRECESSION OF THE EQUINOX INCURS ANOTHER "JERK". THIS OCCURS EACH 23K.Y. OR SO, AND INTRODUCES THE ERROR IN USE OF THE PRECESSIONAL CYCLES FOR AGE DETERMINATION. THE AXIAL CYCLE DOES NOT HAVE THE ERRORS OR INFLECTIONS LISTED ABOVE; AND,
C. THESE DETERMINATIONS MAY BE MADE BY CALCULATING MORE ACCURATELY THE TIME OF ALIGNMENT OF THE LARGE PLANETS, AND BY DETERMINING THE FREQUENCY OF QUAKES YEARLY. THERE SHOULD BE A PREDICTABLE PATTERN TO THE FREQUENCY, LOOKING AT THE WHOLE EARTH'S HISTORY. DUE TO FOREST COVER, ESTIMATION OF THE MAJOR DIAMETER OF THE CLASSIC-HONEYMOON BAY ROAD MAGNITUDE HAS ERRORS OF MEASUREMENT. NEVERTHELESS, I APPROXIMATED THE TERMINATION OF "MOUNDS" TO THE NORTH AND TO THE SOUTH AT 1.09 KM. IT SHOULD BE 1.0 TO AGREE WITH THAT FOUND AT MIMA-HOLMES, SINCE THESE WHOLE NUMBERS RESULT, REGARDLESS HOW CLOSELY I MEASURE. I HAVE ENOUGH CONFIDENCE IN THE MEASUREMENTS TO MAKE THE FOLLOWING CONCLUSIONS:
1. ELLIPTICAL CYCLES ARE OCCURRING ON WHIDBEY ISLAND EACH 50 KY. AT A RATE OF 10MM/YEAR (10KM/M.Y.), AND ARE OCCURRING IN "JERKS". THE JERK IS SUFFICIENTLY LARGE AND LINGERING TO FORM TERRACES SURROUNDING CENTER-LINES OF ELEVATED RIDGES:
2. THE TERRACES ARE LIPPED UP TO THE WEST, AND HAVE ASSOCIATED SINKS NEAR THE UPLIFTS:
3. THE ELLIPTICAL SHEARING PRODUCED BY RARE "CHATTER" OF THE EARTH (A VIBRATION OF THE EARTH, WHILE JERKING WITH QUAKES, VULCANISM, AND ASTEROID STRIKES) HAS ASSOCIATED AXIAL AND PRECESSIONAL CYCLES OF SMALLER DURATION;
4. TERRACES FORMED BY THE ELLIPTICAL SHEARING ARE TILTED UP TO THE WEST AND ARE SUFFICIENTLY YOUNG TO HAVE NOT HAD ERODED SEDIMENTS OFFSET THEIR PATHS;
5. THE MOUNDS FOLLOW THE SAME RULES FOUND IN THE DESERTS OF USA: THEY ROTATE CCW WHILE RISING, THEY HAVE ASSOCIATED SINKS TO OFFSET THE MASS TRANSFER, AND THEY OBEY THE EMPIRICAL PROCEDURE OF:
a. RISES ROTATE CCW, WHILE FORMING RIGHT LATERAL FAULTING, AND TILT UP ACROSS THE RISE- LOOKING FROM THE OUTSIDE;
b. MOUNDS OCCUR AT BORDERS OF ELLIPTICAL CELLS AND AT INTERVALS DETERMINED BY JERK OR CHATTER; AND,
c. MOUND SPACING IS IRREGULAR, BUT AVERAGES ABOUT 10-20 METER SEPARATION.
Penn Cove, Mima Mounds, and 48N Latitude EARTH TIDES OBSERVATIONS
We have found that the Continental Crust is moving westward, by an amount of 20 mm/year, for the desert outcrops of the SW USA, at the 37N latitude. Since this movement should be sensitive to the latitude, I attempt to check this velocity however I can. I am confident of this 20 km/m.y. rate, because it checks with the movement of Pacific Transforms at Mendocino, CA: 7.3 degrees of latitude separation for major E-W slices of significant divisions of the basin. These parallel grids represent 1/50th of the circumference of the earth:
7.3 x 60nm/degree x 1.85km/nm= circumference/50= 800 km (where the centimeter is defined in relation to the quadrant measurement, and circumference of approximately 40K km.).
Since the magnitude of earth tidal west movement should be .707 x that value at its maximum, at mid latitudes, the numerical value should be .707 (cosine 45 degrees) at the latitudes of Whidbey Island. The disclaimer for this regards the influence of solar tides, which may contribute about 1/3rd of the lunar effect. I will check this wherever I can feel confident about a measurement and can validate this independently. So far, I have been able to establish its influence at the Mendocino transform and at the Equator, but this is insufficient. We’ll keep this possible “fly-in-the -ointment” in the background.
Mima Mounds at Holmes Harbor is a EARTH WOBBLE EXAMPLE, where I can hike and make easy measurements.
This case exists close to my domicile, and is kept mowed for future use as a golf course. The measurements shown on the following GOOGLE EARTH photo show that the elliptical E-W diameter is 586 meters for the larger (older) ellipse, and 400 m. for the younger- which is a difference of 186 meters; the older ellipse has a N-S diameter of 1.0 km, 200 meters longer than the younger. These measurements are taken from the centers of the MIMA mounds, and result from the CHATTER of the earth as it exhibits minor wobbles and gravitational “jerks”. It is obvious that the mounds represent local rises, unconnected with nearby sister mounds, but the pattern is a circular or elliptical arrangement for three separate rotations: AXIAL, ELLIPTICAL, and PRECESSIONAL. The mound patterns usually do not interfere with each other, rather they are either congruent with or are sliced by the larger elliptical shearing movement:
First, we will assume that the largest elliptical Milankovitch rotation is that for 100 k.y. This may be subject to doubt, since there may be planetary interferences by smaller planets than Jupiter, Saturn, and Neptune (when they are in alignment). It is possible that Mars and Venus may create gravitational influences completely separate from that of J, S, U, and N (JSUN). These two rocky planets are smaller and opposed to each other, as far as gravitational attraction of the earth is concerned, but we will keep them in the background also; I have found regular 5000 year wobbles, and I haven’t established a source for these.
The largest ellipse diameter is 1 km, for the N-S portrait, along the Honeymoon Bay Road. This road was laid on he rridge top, and represents a N-S reference for the housing area, golf course, and MIMA MOUNDS major (older) ellipse. The 20mm/year found for other areas yields a time of movement of 50 k.y. and is only half that to definitely establish the 100 k.y. cycle; there is no other ellipse which is larger, although there is another of equal size for Honeymoon Lake and Holmes lake. The southern border has another ellipse of similar size, so that this is the largest of the ellipses, and establishes that the movement using a N-S measurement (ensuring that there is no longitudinal effect) is 10 mm/year. This is half that at the desert latitudes, but still equivalent to that found at Penn Cove in a N-S direction. This cannot relate to the more-easily-moved soft sediments of Whidbey Island, since the magnitude is less, NOT MORE!
Analyzing the difference between elliptical rotations, assuming that only one 100 k.y cycle is operating at a given time, we find that there is a 100 m. separation. This represents a 10k.y. re-start, if we use the 10 cm/year measurement. This hints that the re-start is anomalous, referenced to Milankovitch, and that this is the reason for the CHATTER. If so, the period for the resonance of CHATTER is 10k.y. and the 20 meter diameter mound is rotating at a rate of 2mm/year. This is in the range of that measured at Penn Cove, and is probably slightly faster than erosion can erode the mounds.
The two partial ellipses shown for Holmes golf are congruent; that is, they are not separated westward, but occur one on top of the older. Further, the following photo shows that the ellipses create a tilted terrace along the trace (not in the interior, since houses are built on sloping ground- both to the east and to the west, where slopes oppose each other). This represents a circular horizontal shearing along the path covered by the ellipse with its enclosed horizontal smaller diameter rotations (axial and precessional cycles).
The most likely circumstance is for the older ellipse to have sheared its terrace, and then there was a pause of 10k years; subsequently, there was another horizontal shearing- creating another terrace inside the larger feature. This would be similar to uplifting a hill by gravitational attraction, rotating it while it formed (CCW), and initiating a 2nd uplift of the older hill with a 2nd shearing rotation- again CCW. That this occurred only after 10,000 years is puzzling; Milankovitch would not predicted this, since the older cycle would have required 100k.y., after which another similar period would have been initiated after the 100 k.y. had expired. There are other elliptical figures to the north, but they are of similar diameter- indicating that older and larger ellipses are not present. Keep in mind that all this was due to the alignment of the large planets, and could not have occurred unless an additional action transpired. This could have happened with some exterior event, such as the strike of 12-14 k.years, (1/8th of a million) where the earth re-started its reaction to the alignment of the large planets. This seems unlikely, and it appears that we are investigating an earth instability which occurs at intervals according to the binary series 1/8, ¼, ½, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32. 64, etc.
There are Mima Mounds to the north, at Classic and Honeymoon Road intersections. Again, they occur separated by a centerline allowing a measurement of the diameter in a N-S direction: 1 km. in this case the spacing is variable- decreasing to the north to a magnitude of 17m each at Classic Road. This yields an ellipse of near 60 k.y. age. This introduces a new variable, that of a truncation of the ellipse before the 100 k.y. cycle had expired. This may be an error, since the extent of the Mounds is not as certain s was the case of the Holmes rotation.
Altogether, it appears that there occurred an anomaly in addition to the normal TIDAL WESTWARD MOVEMENT of 20mm/year. These N-S ellipses are occurring with regularity along the axis of the Whidbey Island, and hints that an event created them which transpired perpendicularly to the N-S axis. This could be the speculated 12.5 k.y event in the Pacific Ocean near the Juan de Fuca Ridge, as shown in a previous Google Earth photo (west of Coupeville and Penn Cove).
FINALLY, WE FIND THAT OFFSHORE FROM THE HOLMES BULGE- WHICH IS ENLARGING WITH TIME- NOTWITHSTANDING EROSION- A PRECESSIONAL CELL IS ROTATING CW, AS IS EXPECTED FOR A SINK. THIS CYCLE HAS A SMALL GRID SPACING- 9 MM/YEAR, WHEREAS AN AXIAL ROTATION ONSHORE- WHICH IS RISING, CCW- HAS A GRID OF 17 MM/YEAR. THE AXIAL CYCLES OF THE EARTH ALWAYS PERFORMS CONSTANTLY: REGULARLY ROTATING WITH THE 40 K.Y. WOBBLE OF THE POLES. WE WILL HAVE TO INVESTIGATE OPEN OCEAN SEAMOUNTS, TO DETERMINE WHETHER THE RULE IS INVIOLATE. IT COULD BE THAT FOR THE PRECESSIONAL CELL, THAT THIS INCURS SINKING WHEN THE CYCLE IS DECREASING THE LATITUDE OF THE TROPICS, AND VICE VERSA.
Viewing the breadth of WHIDBEY ISLAND in the vicinity of the HOLMES GOLF MIMA MOUNDS determines that feature is part of a LARGER ENTITY- THAT STARTING WITH THE EXCURSION OF GLACIATION TO THE SOUTH, near the town of FREELAND. THE WHOLE ENTITY IS 4 KM FROM NORTH OT SOUTH, BUT LESS FROM EAST TO WEST. THE RATIOS OF THE TWO DIAMETERS OF THE ELLIPSE INDICATE THAT THE RATIO OF AXIAL/PRECESSIONAL (41 KM/23.5 FOR PRECESSION OF THE EQUINOX) IS PRESERVED IN THE PERFORMANCE (CHATTER AND JERK OF THE POLAR WOBBLE):

Sorting out the anomalies associated with the rotation of the 3 Milankovitch cells requires analysis of an area which exhibits all of these in an isolated region, uninfluenced by the surroundings (which remain unknown). A place such as a lake near the Columbia River, WA- Vancouver Lake- is valuable, since it clearly exhibits all 3 features, and is large enough so that there is a westward movement from EARTH TIDES to allow analysis. Below is a map with my initial view of many circular features:
YOU SHOULD MAKE A GOOGLE SEARCH OF THE VANCOUVER LAKE ISLAND, AND YOU WILL FIND THAT IT IS PARTLY A TAILINGS DUMP FROM DREDGING OPERATIONS! THIS WOULD NOT BE GIVEN A SECOND THOUGHT BY GEOLOGISTS, SINCE IT IS PARTLY ARTIFICIAL. THAT EXPOSES THE DEFICIENCY OF THE GEOLOGIST'S TENDENCY TO CLASSIFY ALL, AND TO IGNORE WHAT IS NOT UNDERSTOOD. DYNAMICS OF THE EARTH OPERATE ON WHATEVER MASS IS PRESENT; CONCRETE SLABS, RIVER BEDS, MOUNTAINS, OR TAILING PILES. MAGNIFICATION OF THE ISLAND WILL SHOW THAT EVEN THE VEGETATION HAS A PREFERENCE OR REJECTION OF NATURAL SHEARING OR ROTATION OF THE EARTH.
To ensure that vegetation and siltation in the surrounding shallow lake is a true indicator of NATURAL (NOT MAN-MADE OR ARTIFICIAL) CYCLES, I ANALYZED THE SURROUNDINGS OF THE VANCOUVER LAKE FOR FAINT CHANGES. THESE INDICATE THAT THE 20 MM/YEAR (NEARLY AN INCH) OF SHEAR and ROTATION ARE ON-GOING, AND PRESENT A VIEW OF DYNAMICS REGARDLESS OF THE DREDGING AND LAKE REARRANGEMENT CREATED BY MAN: The 800 meter wide island/20mm/year indicates that IT IS AN AXIAL CELL OF 40 k.y. duration. Looking closely, since diameter is proportional to age, you can see THAT THERE IS A CIRCULAR FEATURE OF ABOUT 25 METERS DIAMETER, WHICH WOULD BE THAT ASSOCIATED WITH THE MASTODON KILLER STRIKE. THERE ARE SO MANY ROTATIONS AND SHEAR CIRCLES, THAT I HAVE LEFT IT TO THE READER TO INCORPORATE THEM. FURTHER CLUES ABOUT THE FORMATION OF "MIMA MOUNDS" ARE FOUND OFFSHORE WHIDBEY ISLAND, AT MARINERS COVE AND THE LARGE EASTWARD-MOVING ARCUATE COASTLINE. WE'LL INVESTIGATE THIS BY LOOKING AT THE CLASSIC CASE- THAT OF THE MENDOCINO 40N LATITUDE- WHERE BOTH DECREASING AND INCREASING WIDTHS OF THE SHELVES ARE FOUND ON EITHER SIDE TO THE NORTH OR SOUTH:
The mystery of the occurrence of 20 mm/year EARTH TIDES can now be solved.
There is indeed a variation from 10 to 20mm/yr as younger precessional cycles (smaller) post-date older (later). The Google photo shows that an axial cell of 47.5 k.y. rotates CW with time as it sinks. After 7.5 k.y. the diameter of the cell is smaller and the edge precessional cells are also smaller, so that the separation of the AXIAL from the precessional is now less, indicating 10 mm/y- compared to the original older 20mm/y. This represents another variable to be incorporated in an assessment of JERKS and “chatter” associated with the MIMA MOUNDS. Referring to the HOLMES MOUNDS, the younger mounds are moving at 10 mm/yr, compared to the older at 20mm/year. This discovery allows an interpretation of the direction of the larger rotation. Of course, on land compared to offshore, there is rising instead of sinking (which is obvious in most cases, since the basin is below sea level). However, REBOUND invokes a reversal of previous dynamics; but the rebound is a result of mass transfer, and this is all sorted out by gravitational dynamics. With transfer of ICE MASS, upon influence of another entity- HEAT, the smaller cycles are invoked and the land sinks or rises with the transfer. THE TRANSFER DUE TO HEAT COMES FIRST, then the gravitational rotations begin! One might wonder whether SOLAR RADIATION is also dependant upon solar gravitational-mechanical dynamics, but I can’t stray that far. I now see that an initial APPRAISAL must be made, and then feedback allows a RE-APPRAISAL (however agonizing)!
Penn Cove waterway, although formed by glaciation in its last stages, has been re-arranged by AXIAL, ELLIPTICAL, AND PRECESSIONAL WOBBLES of the earth since its formation. It is still thrusting laterally, as well as sinking vertically, as shown by iron springs, thrusts at the beach at Coupeville, and many springs along Madrone Road to the west. It has excellent black soil on three sides, including the highlands to the north, and this is due to mulching throughout time since the ice retreated. The mulching has been assisted by biota such as CAMAS and GOLDEN PAINTBRUSH. It borders many circular bays and beaches, and these result from POLAR WOBBLE- mainly that of the AXIAL rotation of 40-41 k.y., but also by elliptical rotations of 100 k.y. cyclicity. My evidence relates that an asteroid strike, circa 12,500 years age ,caused a departure of the normal 20 mm/year TIDAL SHOVE WESTWARD, to cause a 255 degree from north deviated path. The deviations created MIMA MOUNDS in several regions of the island, and they can be seen and easily hiked at the Holmes Golf asphalted trails, starting at Harbor Hills road, OFF HONEYMOON BAY ROAD, until reaching the clubhouse at the end of the road. The mounds are generally round, with some ellipses, and form elliptical and “round” patterns. They are dated starting 50 k.y. and are still moving- as evidenced by the terraces they shear being able to offset erosion of the mounds. I expect that they result from “CHATTER AND JERK” of the earth as it wobbles and vibrates from the combination of EARTH TIDES and shock from an asteroid strike.
ANOTHER CASE OF A LOCATION WHERE 2 WATERWAYS- THE COLUMBIA AND WILLAMETTE, OR- YIELDS ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE RELATION OF THE AXIAL AND PRECESSIONAL CYCLES AND THEIR DEPENDENCE UPON THE ELLIPTICAL CYCLE OF 100 K.Y.! NOTE THAT THE RATIO OF 1.6= 40/25M.Y.= AXIAL/PRECESSIONAL CYCLE TIMES ARE SHOWN FOR THE RATIO OF THE MAJOR AND MINOR DIAMETERS OF THE ELLIPTICALLY-SHAPED LAKE. THIS CLEARLY SHOWS HOW THE 3 CYCLES HAVE COORDINATED THROUGHOUT TIME. WE NOW HAVE TO WONDER "WAS THIS RELATION BEHAVING SIMILARLY IN GEOLOGIC TIMES BEFORE THE ELTANIN STRIKE OF 2.15 M.Y.", WHERE 2 M.Y./50= 40,000 YEARS AXIAL, AND 2 M.Y./25K.Y.= 80 (APPEARING IN HARMONICS OF 8000, 64 M.Y. KT, AND 256 MY., or PTr?): MIMA MOUNDS (PRONOUNCED MY MUH BY LOCALS, AFTER THE MIMA PRAIRIE) BECOME WIDER BY DIAMETER AND HIGHER IN RISE ABOVE THE PRAIRIE WHICH CONTAINS THEM, TO THE SOUTH. THE MOST EXTENSIVELY STUDIED ARE THOSE IN THE LITTLE ROCK, WA VICINITY:
BELOW IS THE LOCATION OF MIMA MOUNDS NEAR LITTLE ROCK, WA. THESE FORM ELLIPTICAL PATTERNS, DUE TO THE INTERFERENCE OF AXIAL, PRECESSIONAL, AND MASS RE-DISTRIBUTIONS IN THE CRUST. WHILE THE WESTWARD TIDAL MOVEMENT IS CONVERTED TO VERTICAL UPLIFT, THERE IS LESS LATERAL TIDAL EFFECT. HOWEVER, THE VERTICAL MOVEMENT IS MUCH LESS THAN THE LATERAL- BEING ONE MM/YEAR OR LESS. IT COULD BE SAID THAT THE CRUSTAL MASS HAS SLID (THRUSTED) WITH THE ELLIPTICAL ROTATION, CAUSING SOME OF IT TO BE USED FOR UPLIFT WHILE SOME IS TAKEN FROM THE SINKS AND PLACED IN THE NEARBY MOUND:

RULES for INTERPRETATION OF WORLD MAPS
RAPID Confirmation of EARTH DYNAMICS may be simplified by use of several patterns on GOOGLE EARTH, EARTH SATELLITE, and other geographical presentations of the globe:
1. The northern hemisphere exhibits several results of EARTH TIDES:
A. Horizontal bulges indicate the direction of past movement of the CRUST. The direction is usually due west for convex bulges. That is, the movement is away from a convex bulge; this is usually west for the northern hemisphere. Examples are for the CA coast at Mendocino, where movement is west for the portion below 40N, and vertical rotation for that more northerly (called subduction by geologists). Exceptions are those for Asia, where bulges point eastward and for the Australian continent, where there is a northeastward component;
B. vertical bulges, such as for antipodes of asteroid strikes, MIMA MOUNDS, extrusion stages of vulcanism, and salt domes, progress upwardly and become smaller with time; and,
C. Youngest HORIZONTAL bulges move westward and overprint older traces, so that there occur concentric traces on the east side, with interfering traces on the west side of rising features. Examples of this occur along islands and along large features similar to the Hurricane fault, Hf.
2. MILANKOVITCH CYCLES create circular shear, elliptical features in the crust, and smaller features such as those due to the precession of the EQUINOX:
A. Elliptical deviations of the annual circum-rotation of the earth around the sun gradually pulls the rotation into an elliptical configuration. This creates elliptical patterns in crustal rocks (as well as with climate cycles and daily weather cells). This occurs in a 100 kilo-year cycle, as well as a million year deviation, and I suspect a 2 m.y. pattern:
B. Axial wobbles occur regularly each 40,000 years, and are the most predictable in terms of patterns and circular configurations. These may be used for measurement of ages of dynamic features, in several ways:
a. the diameter of a circular feature may be used, with 20mm/year (20km/m.y.) to determine the time since origination: e.g. 1000 km diameter/20 km/m.y.= 50m.y. AGE;
b. The ratio of an unknown feature diameter to that of a 40k.y. feature may be used to calculate the unknown age: e.g. the CP diameter of 800 km is a multiple of 20 times a 2m.y. rotation, or 40 million years age- the 2 m.y. feature produced by the Eltanin strike, and,
c. The larger radius of an elliptical cell pertains to the 40 k.y. AXIAL cycle or its harmonics, such as 5000 year cycles, while the smaller 25 k.y. cycle determines the smaller radius or its harmonics.
3. CORIOLIS FORCE and rotation of circular features:
A. North of the equator, rising features rotate counter-clockwise, as with stormy weather cells, salt domes, and volcanoes;
B. Sinking features rotate CW, as with high pressure clear weather cells, sinkholes, and basins or depressions. Inside of sinking features there occur circular rises- such as a recumbent dome inside a crater. Similarly, granite domes occur in basins, such as Roundtop in Texas and the Dewey batholith in AZ; and,
C. Interplay of Milankovitch cycles and Coriolis rotations create geological anomalies at river junctions, to yield the following RULE: RISES ROTATE RIGHT-LATERALLY, with the RISE TILTED away from the observer, LOOKING TOWARD THE RISE (e.g. Hf is lipped up on the east side, creating a barrier for drainage).
THESE RULES DO NOT APPLY TO ANOTHER HEMISPHERE OR OTHER QUADRANSPHERES THAN THE NORTH AMERICAN, but one can test for pertinence.
ANOTHER WAY TO LOOK AND MAKE AN ANALYSIS OF THE SHEAR AND ROTATION OF METASEDIMENTS, OUT-OF-PLACE IN QUATERNARY TILL, MAY BE MADE WITH AN OBLIQUE VIEW (NORTH IS TO THE LEFT, BELOW). THERE ARE SEVERAL CONFLICTING SHEAR CIRCLES, AND THESE ARE RELATED TO MALINKOVITCH CYCLES' HARMONICS. FORM YOUR OWN OPINION, NOW THAT YOU UNDERSTAND THE POLAR WOBBLE AND PRECESSION OF THE EQUINOX INFLUENCE ON ROTATIONS WITHIN THE EARTH"S CRUST:
Another clue to the importance of the number 9 is that of 9K km from the 40N latitude Mendocino coastal point to the Marianas TRENCH; 9K/40K earth circumference is 1/9th of the GLOBE traverse. This was found when I recalled that the major transforms were 7.2 degrees ( 1/50th) of the earth’s circumference apart from each other. This would necessitate that the transforms would cross at some point (since circumferences are not parallel, but are a type of Meridian). The Garlock transform at Santa Barbara, CA does not agree with the crossing; and the next to the south- that of the one to Maui-Molokai measures 9K, from offshore Baja Peninsula (the fulcrum of a significant rotation) 9K km to the EQUATOR near Admiralty Island. (Remind me to regale you later of my excursion to this island during the 50’s, when I encountered my first significant Navigational error enroute and wound up “homing in” on a large thunder cloud similar to the shape of the island on RADAR). Meanwhile, back on the ranch, I had already found that the Garlock fault caused CCW rotation of the CA coast, some 700 km toward the Death Valley anomaly. Consequently, the 700 km difference (shown in green) accounts for the failure of the 9K from offshore Santa Barbara to agree with the location of the Marianas Trench.
All this accentuates that the earth is acting as a unit, affecting movements of the individual quadrants. Continental mass floats on the asthenosphere, performing differently from basaltic oceanic crustal mass; its dynamics create either GRID PATTERNS or SEAMOUNTS- one to the exclusion of the other. GRIDS result from ordinary EARTH TIDES, whereas when there is interference from mass-redistribution (REBOUND), asteroids, or lateral thrusting, the lateral shift of 20km/m.y. is reduced as much as 95%. I don’t intend to analyze other quadrants, but merely insert entities which bear on the Quadransphere, Qsna. The Marianas Trench, the Equator, and the MAR obviously are significant on a global scale.
WHAT HAVE WE FOUND SO FAR, in our search for the NUMBER 9-40 m.y. ANOMALY?
1. The Mendocino 40N transform reflects the EASTERN-MOVING Marianas trench, which is closing the gap to Qsna;
2. The 20km/m.y. TIDAL WESTWARD MOVEMENT pertains to the Americas and not to the other quadrants (30km/m.y is measured for the Marianas); Gridlines are rare in the other quadrants, whereas seamounts are common;
3. Everything found so far indicates that we are viewing the effects associated with MECHANICS, not PLUMES, HOTSPOTS, and other thermal events. Creation of continental slopes, thrust faulting, shallow metamorphism, vulcanism, and uplift of mounds, mountains, and intrusions result from gravitational adjustments- due to the combined influence of the large planets, the moon, SUN, and the interjection of asteroids and other cyclical features. Although there are thermal events accompanying these entities, they result from solid friction, and interference from Milankovitch cycles at locations- such as the Hurricane fault, Hf, and the edge of the Colorado Plateau, CP.
