UNLOADING-REBOUND Mima Mound-Termination of ICE AGE RESONANCE is a model for CONFLICTING MILANKOVITCH CYCLES

Mima Mounds occur along the Pacific Coast and are particularly correlated with the change of Earth Tides due to unloading of GLACIAL ICE in the Pleistocene. They are most noticeable on Whidbey Island and other locations previously covered by a great thickness of ice. Below are shown fields of Mima Mounds on W.I. and offshore:



The TIDAL SHOVE due to westward movement of convex coastlines is normally 20mm/yr (20 km /m.y.), but on W.I. and other lands previously covered by ice is near 1 mm/yr. Further, the coastlines are convex eastward for places such as Strawberry Point, near Silver Lake. The offshore view shows that the Mima Mounds occur sub sea with the same separation as those inland- 12 meters on average. They are also arranged in arcuate patterns similarly, and these may be circular as part of a larger elliptical pattern. This investigation will reveal that the overall pattern is a model for the much more vast occurrence of Continental Shelves, considering spacing, oscillation of the Crust, undulation of the surface of rock or sea bottom, and regularity of occurrence of thrusting, rifting, and shear with two conflicting movements of the CRUST.


BELOW IS THE LOCATION OF MIMA MOUNDS NEAR LITTLE ROCK, WA. THESE FORM ELLIPTICAL PATTERNS, DUE TO THE INTERFERENCE OF AXIAL, PRECESSIONAL, AND MASS RE-DISTRIBUTIONS IN THE CRUST. WHILE THE WESTWARD TIDAL MOVEMENT IS CONVERTED TO VERTICAL UPLIFT, THERE IS LESS LATERAL TIDAL EFFECT. HOWEVER, THE VERTICAL MOVEMENT IS MUCH LESS THAN THE LATERAL- BEING ONE MM/YEAR OR LESS. IT COULD BE SAID THAT THE CRUSTAL MASS HAS SLID (THRUSTED) WITH THE ELLIPTICAL ROTATION, CAUSING SOME OF IT TO BE USED FOR UPLIFT WHILE SOME IS TAKEN FROM THE SINKS AND PLACED IN THE NEARBY MOUND:


I will analyze the patterns and possible motivations of the elliptical rotations, terracing (shelving), and vertical movements. Mima Mounds have an upward jerk on a 1000 year cycle, and these produce the movement upward while the larger elliptical jerk transpires. I anticipate that the following dynamics are involved, and the purpose is to determine the dominant ones, and eliminate those not shown in the field or on Google Earth:
1. The EARTH has regular perturbations occurring according to the binary series: 1/8th, ¼, ½, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, and 512 m.y. Extinctions have occurred at several of these time periods: the Mastodon killer at 12.900 yr. WA basalt flood at 16m.y., KT at 65, Ptr at 251, and others at larger time periods earlier.
2. Asteroid strikes represent an unpredictable mechanical force, creating thrust faulting, basalt outpouring at the antipode, creation of domes and basins antipodally to each other;
3. One way of rationalizing the concurrence of asteroid strikes with the binary series is to assume that the earth is “doing its thing” by moving the crust westward by tidal action, slowing the daily cycle by a few milliseconds, extending the diameter of the earth with the reduction of centrifugal force, creating basins which sink due to mass transfer as the crust expands, and adjusting its position in the annual revolution about the sun as the large planets align and attract the earth from its usual “rounds“. An asteroid strike then may merely accelerate what had already been “in the works“;
4. It is possible that asteroid strikes are not random, but occur in a pattern similar to that occurring on earth, due to the binary rhythm. Then, they would strike in harmony with the events on earth- creating instability at regular times. At any rate, the instability and its associated mechanical strike are extremely disruptive- creating KILLERS OF LIFE!
5. We will leave the field open, allowing that both the strike hypothesis and its concomitant binary-instability disruption as possible alternatives or as separately-occurring entities.

BELOW IS A GOOGLE EARTH PHOTO OF THE MENDOCINO, CA, AT 40N LATITUDE, WHICH RESULTED FROM THE STRIKE CREATING THE KIMMEI SEAMOUNT (I HAVE NOT FOUND THE EXACT LOCATION YET). THIS STRIKE INTERFERED WITH THE PREVIOUS KT STRIKE, REVERSING THE ORIENTATION OF Qsna- NOTICEABLE AT ICELAND. THIS IS AN INTRODUCTION TO THE FORMATION OF TERRACES (CONTINENTAL SHELVES IN THIS CASE), BY ROTATION OF THE CONTINENT WITH WHATEVER ORIGINATES IT.
THE FORMATION OF SHELVES IS VIEWED MORE SIMPLY AT ANTARCTICA, WHERE SEVERAL RECOGNIZABLE ROTATIONS HAVE CREATED A CONSISTENT PATTERN THROUGH TIME. NOTICE THAT THE SHELF IS "SKINNY" AT ITS LEADING EDGE (CW ROTATION AROUND A SINK), AND BROAD AT ITS OLDER LOCATION TO THE SOUTH. THIS ROTATION HAS ALSO BEEN INTERFERED WITH BY A CCW ROTATION (RISE OF ANTARCTICA) TO THE SW. THIS PRODUCES "CHATTER" IN THE FORM OF SEAMOUNTS, AND UNDERWATER VULCANISM. KEEP IN MIND THAT WE ARE VIEWING ON A LARGE SCALE, WHAT IS OCCURRING ON A SMALL SCALE WITH THE "MIMA MOUNDS":
MIMA MOUNDS, ROTATION, SHEAR, AND VIBRATION OF THE EARTH OCCURS IN PLACES OTHER THAN THOSE THAT HAVE BEEN COVERED BY ICE. CENTRAL OREGON, NEAR THE I-5 FREEWAY, HAS A DEVELOPMENT OLDER THAN THOSE IN WA. THIS IS FOR THE PLIOCENE, WHICH PRECEDED THE ICE AGE. ALTHOUGH THE TIDAL WEST MOVEMENT OF 20MM/YEAR IS STILL USED FOR THE LARGER CALCULATIOINS, THE LOCAL MOVEMENT IS ANTAGONISTIC TO THIS RATE- CAUSING A REVERSE RESONANCE WHICH MAKES THE CALCULATION OF AGE FROM THE USUAL CIRCULAR DIAMETER/20 TO INCUR SOME ADDED ERRORS. NEVERTHELESS, I CALCULATE THE AGE FOR THE LARGER ROTATINS AND THE LOCAL INTERFERENCE FROM THE SMALLER ARCS:
I INCLUDE SOME WELL-KNOWN EXRTINCTIONS- THAT OF THE MOVEMENT OF THE 251M.Y. (MY 256, BY BINARY SERIES), AS IT AFFECTS THE "RIPPLING AS OF A STONE" INFLUENCE ON WAVES IN A POND. FIRST, IT HAS CREATED THE GREAT ARC OF THE INDONESIAN ARCHIPELAGAO, AND SECONDLY, IT HAS MOVED THE HIMALAYAN MOUNTAINS NORTHWARD, AT SIMILAR RATES OF ADVANCE:



JERK AND "CHATTER" OF THE EARTH' CRUST, DUE TO RESNANCE AFTER CONFLICTING MOVEMENTS- AS THE CRUST UNLOADS (WITH REBOUND OF ICE AGE, INSTABILIITIES OF ROTATION AT PERTURBATONS ASSOCIATED WITH THE BINARY SERIES, AND RE-DISTRIBUTION OF THE CRUST WITH MOVEMENTS OF WATER, ICE, SALT, FLOWS, AND ASTEROID STRIKES) creates REVERSALS OF TIDAL WEST SHIFT. THIS IS SEEN IN THE SAN JUAN ISLANDS, AND IS AN ENLARGEMENT FOR THAT OCCURRING AT MIMA MOUNDS, WHERE I HAVE USED THE FIELDWORK TO DEMONSTRATE THE PRINCIPLE: PHOTO ABOVE WAS CONSTRUCTED LAST, AFTER REALIZING THAT THE DIVISOR 20 (TIDAL WESTWARD MOVEMENT IN KM/M.Y.) WAS INAPPROPRIATE FOR CONFLICTING CRUSTAL MOVEMENTS WHENEVER THERE WAS ICE UNLOADING-REBOUND. THIS CASE REQUIRES THAT THE GRID SPACING BE SEPARATELY MEASURED: 1KM/M.Y. FOR CONFLICTING ICE AGE REBOUND, AN EASTWARD OFFSET OF THE NORMAL 20KM/M.Y. WESTWARD TIDAL SHIFT. THIS IS THE SAME MEASUREMENT OBTAINED FOR PENN COVE, WHERE THE MIMA MOUND RESONANCES WERE DISCOVERED. BELOW PHOTO SHOWS THAT THERE IS UPLIFT, OR RISE (INTRUSIVES), WHENEVER "CHATTER" RESONANCES (CREATING THRUSTING, RISE OF CONSTITUTION PEAK, ORCAS ISLAND, AND ELLIPTICAL ROTATION OF THE LARGER SAN JUAN ISLAND ANOMALY: SUMMARY: TIDAL WEST MOVEMENTS ARE OFFSET BY CRUSTAL MASS RE-DISTRIBUTION
LAND MASS IS MOVING WESTWARD 20MM/YEAR (20 KM/M.Y.) NORMALLY, BUT IS OFFSET at intervals BY OPPOSING RE-DISTRIBUTION MOVEMENTS OF THE CRUST. Examples include the well-known REBOUND created by MELTING OF GLACIERS. This case illustrates that the net westward movement is near 1-1.6 km/m.y. when the crust rises with loss of the weight of ice to the oceans. This has been measured for the borderlands close to the Pacific Ocean, for Whidbey Island, Willamette-Columbia Rivers, and San Juan Islands. The SPACING, or width of N-S grid lines (which are separations of TIDAL TROUGHS or RISES) can be seen and measured on Google Earth, and are easily viewed and hiked for features on the small scale: Mima Mounds, San Juan elliptical arrangement, and other entities near the Pacific borderlands south to the Mendocino 40N latitude. The conflicting movement tendencies produce a “RINGING” or crustal resonance which occurs on a thousand years’ multiple, and result in uplift of the mounds, intrusions such as Mt. Constitution on Orcas Island, and raised curvilinear blocks below sea level in Puget Sound. Whereas large arcs, such as the Indonesian archipelago, can be measured and age calculated from the calculated diameters, at diameter/20km/m.y.= AGE, in million years,
this normal relation (which has been confirmed for times back to PTr, or 256m.y.) for many locations in the northern hemisphere, the calculation is inaccurate for regions where “RINGING” occurs. San Juan Island exhibits that the measured diameters must be divided by1km/year to obtain the correct time of movement.

Calculations for AGE of Initial Movement of an arc, such as Indonesia, may be made by cross-checking the movement of the Himalayan arc- which occurs with its time of northward movement. This is the time of KT, or 64m.y.-by the BINARY SERIES, which is correlated with the asteroids producing the initial response. The Deccan basalts resulting from the KT strike confirm that the calculations using 20km/m.y. are correct for all times and all quadrants of the globe, EXCEPT FOR CONFLICTS OCCURRING AT CRUSTAL UNLOADING.

This major finding- that the GRADUALLY WIDENING ARCS, similar to ripples in a pond- from the tossing of a stone- are the result of an asteroid (the stone) striking the earth, producing a lasting series of ever-widening arcs outwardly moving. The movement is perpendicular to the arc, and the convex side of the arc indicates the direction of movement with time. On the small scale, an eastward-facing curvilinear cliff- such as the east side of Whidbey Island, below- indicates that conflict has occurred and that the grid spacing must be measured to calculate the time of initial movement:

OLD (USING PUBLISHED TERMINATION OF THE LOCAL ICE AGE), AND HAVE NOT HAD SUFFICIENT EROSION OF THE BOTTOM SEDIMENTS TO ERASE THEM. THIS PHOTO SHOULD CONVINCE EVEN A GEOLOGIST THAT THERE ARE STRUCTURES WHICH PORTRAY THE WOBBLE AND "CHATTER" OF THE EARTH;

CONCLUSIONS:
1. CONVEX COASTLINES INDICATE THE NORMAL MOVEMENT OF 20KM/M.Y. WESTWARD, EXCEPT FOR
2. THOSE CONVEX BORDERS ORIENTING EASTWARD- WHICH RESULT FROM CONFLICTING REBOUND, MASS RE-DISTRIBUTION OF THE CRUST, AND BORDERS AT ASTEROID STRIKES INTERFERENCE;
3. THE INITIAL ASTEROID STRIKE TIME MAY BE CALCULATED FROM DIAMETERS FOUND FROM ARCUATE MEASUREMENTS. THIS IS CALCULATED FROM PARTIAL ARCS (LESS THAT A HALF CIRCLE) BY TRACING ORTHOGONALS PERPENDICULAR TO THE ARC AT MEASURED ARC DISTANCES, AND BY CALCULATING THE DIAMETER FROM CIRCUMFERENCE/PI= AGE x 20. MANY CASES SHOW THE PROGRESSION OF THE ARCS WITH TIME VIA CONCENTRIC ARCS, WITH THE LARGER DIAMETERS BEING THE LATEST OR LARGEST DIAMETER. An excellent case is that of Indonesia, where the Andaman Islands are the youngest and largest arc of expansion (“ripple” in the pond of the Indian Ocean). This arc indicates the time of the Ptr strike at the southern border of Australia- where the strike initiated the separation of Antarctica from the larger landmass: 256 m.y. by the binary series, or 251m.y. measured by radioactivity.
I had wondered at the formation of the Pacific Hourglass- a feature showing symmetry between the Hawaiian and island chains to the NW. Now it becomes clear that the entity developed from the expansion of the Australian crust NE-ward, creating rings of islands as the movement brought “CHATTER” while developing seamounts, vulcanism, and uplift of the seafloor:




4. CONFLICTS OF DIFFERENT MOVEMENTS CREATE TERRACES, THE SMALLEST OF WHICH IS THAT SURROUNDING MIMA MOUNDS:

OTHER TERRACES INCLUDE CONTINENTAL SHELVES AND BORDERS OF UPLIFTS- SUCH AS THAT ABOVE THE HURRICANE FAULT, Hf- AND INTRUSIVE DOMES.

WHAT IS THE PRACTICAL USE OF ALL THIS? AFTER ALL, WE ARE INVESTIGATING FEATURES WHICH TRANSPIRED MILLIONS OF YEAR AGO. THE ANSWERS INCLUDE:
A. KILLER EARTHQUAKES RESULT FROM THE “JERK” MOVEMENT OUTWARD FROM THE CONVEX ARCS, SUCH AS THE RECENT SUMATRAN AND PREVIOUS KRAKATAU SHOVES. WE CAN NOW “HOME IN“ ON THE LIKELY EXPANDING AND DETACHING ISLAND ANOMALIES;
B. CONTINENTAL SHELVES MAY NOW BE UNDERSTOOD AND PREDICTED AS TO MOVEMENT OF TURBIDITES AND WESTWARD-MOVING CONTINENTAL SLOPE BORDERS;
C. REGIONS OF EXCELLENT SOIL MAY BE DELINEATED BY LOCATION OF PRESENTLY-MOVING MOUNDS ON A SMALL SCALE; AND,
D. TROUGHS OF FASTER-MOVING TIDAL CURRENTS, WHERE SALMON MAKE THEIR RUNS TOWARD THE RIVERS, MAY BE ISOLATED FOR SPORT FISHING
I SUSPECT THAT VULCANISM (EXTRUSION) VS. INTRUSION OF GRANITE-LIKE ROCK MAY BE PREDICTED, BY USE OF THE OBSERVATION THAT VOLCANOES OCCUR IN BASINS IN BINARY SEQUENCE, WHEREAS INTRUSIONS OCCUR ON PREVIOUS BASIN’S FAIRLY LEVEL TERRACES.

THE ABOVE CASE FOR SAN JUAN ISLANDS SHOWS THAT TIDAL SHIFT WEST OF 20MM/YEAR CANNOT BE USED WHENEVER THERE IS "CHATTER" OR INTERFERENCE FROM SUBSEQUENT ASTEROID STRIKES- AFFECTING PORTIONS OF THE CRUST. THESE CASES REQUIRE THAT THE DIVISOR BE MEASURED LOCALLY. THIS IS AS LOW AS 1KM/M.Y. FOR WHIDBEY ISLAND AND OTHER REGIONS WHERE ICE UNLOADING HAS "WORKED AGAINST" THE NORMAL TIDAL MOVEMENT. SORTING THIS OUT CAN BE STARTED BY ANALYZING THE REGION NEAR THE NORTH POLE, WHERE CHANGE OCCURS MORE NOTICEABLY. GAKKEL RIDGE IS ONE SUCH REGION, WHERE THE TIDAL MOVEMENTS CHANGE WITH TIME AFTER THE KT AND 40M.Y. EVENTS:

EVENT SHOWS ITS "COLORS" IN MANY LOCATIONS AROUND THE GLOBE, AND NOT JUST IN Qsna, AT MENDOCINO, CA, CENTRAL AMERICA CURLICUES DUE TO POLAR SHIFTS, AND AT THE NORTH POLE. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT I CROSS-CHECK THIS EVENT, SINCE THIS IS A CLUE TO THE BINARY THEORY'S PREDICTION OF THE INSTABILITY OF THE EARTH. NOTICE THAT IT IS NOT CONFIRMED ABOVE, AND IS RE-CALCULATED FOR AGES, ROTATIONS, AND MOVEMENTS BELOW:

THE GALAPAGOS ISLANDS LIE NEAR THE EQUATOR AND PROVIDE A LATITUDE WHERE THERE IS MINIMUM CORIOLIS ROTATION, NO LATITUDE CORRECTION, AND TERTIARY VULCANISM. IT IS INSTRUCTIVE TO MEASURE THE TIDAL MOVEMENT THERE, TO ELIMINATE SOME OF THE VARIABLES, AND TO MEASURE THE ACCURACY OF THE NORMAL 20MM/YR WESTWARD TIDAL SHIFT, BELOW IS THE ANALYSIS, USING ARCS AND THEIR ASSOCIATED ORTHOGONALS: DIAMETERS AND ROTATION ABOUT THE CENTER OF ARCS. NOTICE THAT THERE IS A GENERAL CCW ROTATION OF ARCS (THE RADIUS IS PROPORTIONAL TO AGE OF AN ARC, AND THE SHORTER, THE YOUNGER):


Another clue to the importance of the number 9 is that of 9K km from the 40N latitude Mendocino coastal point to the Marianas TRENCH; 9K/40K earth circumference is 1/9th of the GLOBE traverse. This was found when I recalled that the major transforms were 7.2 degrees ( 1/50th) of the earth’s circumference apart from each other. This would necessitate that the transforms would cross at some point (since circumferences are not parallel, but are a type of Meridian). The Garlock transform at Santa Barbara, CA does not agree with the crossing; and the next to the south- that of the one to Maui-Molokai measures 9K, from offshore Baja Peninsula (the fulcrum of a significant rotation) 9K km to the EQUATOR near Admiralty Island. (Remind me to regale you later of my excursion to this island during the 50’s, when I encountered my first significant Navigational error enroute and wound up “homing in” on a large thunder cloud similar to the shape of the island on RADAR). Meanwhile, back on the ranch, I had already found that the Garlock fault caused CCW rotation of the CA coast, some 700 km toward the Death Valley anomaly. Consequently, the 700 km difference (shown in green) accounts for the failure of the 9K from offshore Santa Barbara to agree with the location of the Marianas Trench.




All this accentuates that the earth is acting as a unit, affecting movements of the individual quadrants. Continental mass floats on the asthenosphere, performing differently from basaltic oceanic crustal mass; its dynamics create either GRID PATTERNS or SEAMOUNTS- one to the exclusion of the other. GRIDS result from ordinary EARTH TIDES, whereas when there is interference from mass-redistribution (REBOUND), asteroids, or lateral thrusting, the lateral shift of 20km/m.y. is reduced as much as 95%. I don’t intend to analyze other quadrants, but merely insert entities which bear on the Quadransphere, Qsna. The Marianas Trench, the Equator, and the MAR obviously are significant on a global scale.

WHAT HAVE WE FOUND SO FAR, in our search for the NUMBER 9-40 m.y. ANOMALY?
1. The Mendocino 40N transform reflects the EASTERN-MOVING Marianas trench, which is closing the gap to Qsna;
2. The 20km/m.y. TIDAL WESTWARD MOVEMENT pertains to the Americas and not to the other quadrants (30km/m.y is measured for the Marianas); Gridlines are rare in the other quadrants, whereas seamounts are common;
3. Everything found so far indicates that we are viewing the effects associated with MECHANICS, not PLUMES, HOTSPOTS, and other thermal events. Creation of continental slopes, thrust faulting, shallow metamorphism, vulcanism, and uplift of mounds, mountains, and intrusions result from gravitational adjustments- due to the combined influence of the large planets, the moon, SUN, and the interjection of asteroids and other cyclical features. Although there are thermal events accompanying these entities, they result from solid friction, and interference from Milankovitch cycles at locations- such as the Hurricane fault, Hf, and the edge of the Colorado Plateau, CP.
